TRANSITION MATS
The need for this product was introduced to us on the North Slope of Alaska, to create a safe and durable transition between road and rig mat. We crafted our unique mats to endure the combination of the extreme, harsh climate of Alaska and the extra -heavy-duty requirements of the North Slope.
From the threat of bonding to frozen roads to the harsh handling from large equipment, multi-million pound drilling rigs, and the instability of North Slope roads, our Alaskan-designed Transition Mats are designed to handle heavy-duty use.
DESIGNED BY ALASKANS
Inspired by the extremes of the Alaskan North Slope, we created a Transition Mat with the toughness needed to meet the challenge. To create these specialized Mats, we collaborated with Alaskan-based company GTF, LLC to bring the necessary experience in both heavy-duty fabrication and our specialized knowledge of fabrication for the North Slope together.
DURABILITY THAT LASTS
Designed for extra heavy-duty use, our Transition Mats have been specifically created to be long-lasting, featuring a fully sealed design that is reinforced at potential weak points, while weighing no more than an average rig mat.
EASY TO USE
Ease in deployment is a crucial part of our design. We crafted our Transition Mats to utilize front and rear fork deflectors, granting ease-of-deployment during mobilization. Our fork deflector design also assists in prying mats from the frozen ground and eliminates fork penetration during demobilization.
INCREASED SAFETY
Our Transition Mats are built at a consistent slope of only 1.8 degrees over the length of nearly eight feet, allowing for a smooth and safe transition from road to rig mats.
